Artist’s Biography

Recent Work

Throughout Lasha’s artistic journey, the focus has always been on figurative work. Her passion for representing femininity together with detailed patterns and Eastern philosophies have helped shape her distinctive style.

“Artistic expression has always been part of my life since as far back as I can remember.  I was formally trained as a printmaker at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, graduating with a BFA, and have continued to work in a variety of mediums. For me, art is a reflection of the artist and their experiences in the world that surrounds them. My aim is to produce art that reflects my own experiences and that has a deeper meaning for myself. Hopefully each piece will also connect with a deeper meaning for others.”

Lasha’s oil paintings, watercolours, ceramics and mosaics are found in private and corporate collections throughout Canada, the United States and Europe.
